ADM Precision Tools began in 1986, started by Jim Kelly, an award winning, time served toolmaker with an eye for innovation and a commitment to quality. From its humble beginnings as a 3 man team producing highly technical precision tools, ADM has grown to be one of the UK’s leading precision toolmakers with a team of 20+ expert designers and highly skilled tool makers, boasting over 160 years of experience and an enviable reputation for excellence.
At ADM Precision Tools we design and manufacture the injection mould tools for this process. To produce these we create highly technical and detailed drawings in our state of the art design centre. These drawings can then be input into our CNC milling and Spark Erosion machines where a physical product is created. CNC milling is the more traditional and cost effective production method. The EDM (electrical discharge machining) or Spark erosion method allows ADM Precision Tools to create complex shapes that are difficult to machine in pre hardened work pieces.
