IP65 Rated Components with an extremely low tolerance for the harshest of internal machinery

A global client had the requirement to ‘protect sensitive electronic components’ within a complex industrial sensor design. The ADM team worked to overcome this mechanical challenge and developed a process to meet the product requirements.


To overcome this challenge we produced a sub assembly with a rubberised protective polymer coating. This additional coating provides the hard engineered polymer with an additional outer, allowing it to react an IP rating of IP65 making it water resistant and able to withstand harsh environmental conditions in its location.


As a high production run with extremely high tolerance requirements, highly accurate and repeatable parts were required to ensure successful and acceptable components.
